I always knew that I wanted to achieve financial independence from a very young age, but I also discovered that it was not going to be easy to do.
Working part time in a Restaurant & Bar and also full time in my first job at 16 years of age in real estate office, starting at the bottom of the ladder, learning all facets of the industry and then over the next 5 years I worked my way up until I bought my first real estate office at 21 years of age.
One of the youngest women in Sydney ever to do so.
I have recently turned 55, and looking back, I am proud of the drive, focus, determination and 'Core Values' that guided me to keep moving forward and achieving success through business, mentoring and property.
The 'Reality of Life' was that I was not brought up with money, and I was not from a wealthy privileged background. I grew up in a home, St Bridgid’s Convent and Orphanage, run by the Catholic Sisters of Mercy,As my mother left me and our very young family when I was only 18 months old and my twin sisters were 3 years old & my eldest sister was only 5 at the time.
